Documentation & Compliance

In the modern maritime environment, compliance isn’t just a bureaucratic formality, it is a layer of defense. Hydra ensures your yacht meets flag-state, and port-state requirements so your vessel sails with confidence, legitimacy, and operational readiness.

Under SOLAS Chapter XI-II and the ISPS Code, “All vessels of 500 GT or more engaged in international voyages are required to maintain and implement a Ship Security Plan approved by their flag administration.”

A SSP is a confidential binder composed of:

  • Security duties and delegations

  • Communication and coordination

  • How to establish security levels

  • Security actions and SOPs

  • Operation and maintenance of security equipment

  • Emergency contacts

  • Records of annual training and quarterly drills

The Ship Security Plan (SSP) is a living document that requires constant upkeep, logging, and amendments. The responsibility of this work falls on Hydra Defense Solutions as the mandated Company Security Officer.

A checked box is where others stop.

For Hydra, it’s where we begin.
